Product Description

UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) sheet is a high-performance engineering plastic sheet manufactured through compression or extrusion molding of polyethylene resin with a molecular weight exceeding 1.5 million (typically 3–6 million). Its ultra-long molecular chains give the material exceptional wear resistance, impact strength, and self-lubricating properties, earning it the title of "King of Plastics."


  • Extremely high molecular weight (far exceeding standard PE), providing outstanding mechanical properties.

  • Superior wear resistance, outperforming nylon (PA) and PTFE.

  • Low coefficient of friction, comparable to PTFE but with higher mechanical strength.

  • Excellent low-temperature performance, maintaining toughness even at -200°C.

  • Chemical inertness, resistant to acids, alkalis, solvents, and most corrosive media.



Key Features

1.Wear Resistance:7x more wear-resistant than carbon steel, 4x more than nylon—ideal for high-abrasion environments (e.g., mining, logistics).

2.Impact Strength:Maintains toughness at -200°C; impact strength is 5x higher than ABS.

3.Self-Lubricating:Extremely low friction coefficient (0.07–0.12), eliminating the need for external lubrication.

4.Chemical Resistance:Resists acids, alkalis, and organic solvents (except concentrated nitric/sulfuric acid).

5.Lightweight:Density of only 0.93–0.94 g/cm³ (lighter than water), easy to handle and install.

6.Non-Toxic:Complies with FDA/USP Class VI standards, suitable for food and medical applications.

7.Electrical Insulation:Excellent insulating properties for electrical equipment.

8.Weather Resistance:UV-resistant, long service life outdoors.

  • Wear Liners: Chute liners in mining, coal bunker liners, conveyor guides in cement plants.
